OpEXL-FB™ High Capacity Cryo Eccentric Plug Rotary Control Valve
The OpEXL-FB is a high-capacity cryogenic eccentric plug rotary valve that can be used for both control and on/off service. It’s rated Cv is comparable size-for-size with a trunnion mounted ball valve, but has the advantage of eccentric, cammed seating and a top-entry design. It was designed to comfortably handle differential pressures up to 725 psi (50 bar), temperature ranges from -420 degrees F to 752 degrees F, in sizes from 1” to 16” and ANSI Classes 150 to 600.
The seating design in which the plug cams into the seat eliminates friction and reduces the effects of abrasives, making for a much longer lasting valve in most any service.
