Specifically, our OpTK Linear Piston Cylinder Actuators combine with the self-aligning seat in the OpGL Globe Control Valve to routinely produce ANSI Leakage Class V metal-to-metal, thereby providing a much tighter seal and reducing the wire drawing effect and unwanted leakage. Seizing and sticking is caused by the close dimensional tolerances between the plug and cage on cage-guided valves. Our top-guided, or bonnet-guided, design eliminates the need for a cage and along with it the potential for seizing and sticking.
